turning 24

alrite, it's been a while since my official birth and a couple of days since the memory of the 24th one in my life. it was very much like any other day i suppose how else are we suppose to feel on our birthdays?

we went golfing so that clears up one of my to do list for the holiday. yea never expected me to play golf isn't it? but it was miniGolf and it was pretty fun considering the place was quite crowded with kids and quite costly for entry.

I spent the night with a couple of friends from work by the beach although we were suppose to be bowling the night away. It happens that the place closes at 3am only on weekends but my birthday being a thursday and NOt a weekend saw to it that the alley closes at 1am instead. So stranded all the way in the east, we just stayed up till dawn. lol. it's the kind of thing you do in your teens or on your 21st but at 24 i suspect my body was geting too old for all this staying up all night and talking away under the stars add on the fact that we were up since the early morning playing golf and what not, me and Jon (well mostly Jon) were grouchy and tired in the wee mornings.

the next day my friends came over for a cheap dinner and the usual chill and relax i guess. the sweetest part of it all was that they helped clean up the house just before they left.

it's funny how after 11 years since we met and 8 years since we left school, we still appear very much the same yet... still very much different. (:

life gives you a bunch of good friends and
a bunch of great friends
it's up to you to keep them or not.
