Stick your 3 fingers up and say...

....[insert Scouts Promise here]

After a 5 days in camp, i learned... well i learned that socks can help to keep the mossies away
from my feet and i should damn well bring a bloody sleeping bag to camp next time.

I've also discovered the joys *cough cough* of tying knots. i can do some of them now; i just don't remember their names. damn. i can, however (with my new knowledge of tying things) use ropes or strings to tie things together *evil smirk* i wonder what else i can tie together.....

our happy kitchen

"Cooking" class was fun. It was almost the only thing i ever seem to be involved in aside the mindless ramblings that occur only because i've a brain that doesn't exactly take sitting down for long periods of time well.

some flour pancake dumpling thingy wrapped in banana leaf

herbal chicken

I loved the herbal chicken (see above) we made as well as all the other weird and fun stuff created just to be thrown into a muddy oven of which i enjoyed watching the boys or men dig, throw wood and then set fire to.Partly because it didn't involve me and the fact that they hit some ant's nest and was getting ants all over them. Interestingly enough the lesson there has led me to believe if thrown into a strange woody and muddy area i might survive with flour, water and perhaps some eggs.

My shoes took a life of its own after it decided to become decapitated during our hike. We tried to do emergency resuscitation but after about a few hours of hanging on for dear life, i said my final goodbyes and sent it off to where all dead shoes go. He was a good friend that followed through the tree top walk and up and down some winding roads.

may nike rest in piece. or pieces. hah.

my 5 star hotel and well furnished room.

The rain did help a little. Flooded the camp so that the mossies couldn't really survive and it also allowed a lot of frogs into our tents for some melodic lullaby's. It also made the hike shorter than expected and caused a detour to the old Adam road food center allowing me to relive 8years ago when we use to go to Serene center for fun.

On the whole, i suppose i made some weird and strange friends and after 5 days i'm sure we probably won't see each other much to the extent of waiting while the other poops like we do at camp but nonetheless still friends. Friends, that would now become just another little icon on facebook that you double click on to poke your nose into and spy on their photos and take a peek at their lives to tell yourself that there are people more pathetic then you.

but hey of cause, i had a blast at camp. *cough cough* slept on nice teak wood and snuggled up between 2 ladies and if i were a guy it would have been heaven! and memories... i've got them alrite because i've taken away knowledge from the camp that would haunt me for the rest of my life and it'll also cause me to take out the measuring tape every once in a while to tests the strange theories i've learnt... so 25 was it? i've only a couple of years to prove that theory.
