busy weekends and lazy afternoons

work is going great. positive thinking works.but really, it is.

i've started tutoring Gedeon for math, he's in primary 3 and at times i'm so sleepy i might just fall asleep since he takes forever to tackle problems that i take a minute to grade. by the end of the semester it would get harder so i'm trying to get him assessment books that would tackle more harder sums we can work on together or else he wouldn't be moving anywhere forward. i know it sounds so Singaporean, a classic kiasu case of me pushing him but really the workbooks in schools are so basic and the tests the teachers set are no where along those lines. we need him ready in advance or he'd just face a failing streak and low self confidence like the rest of our Singaporean kids today that aren't exactly robots when it comes to studying.

not to compare the two brothers but Gedeon's a lot more chatty. sometimes i get tired and zone out while he's telling me something that happen in school or something he read. so it was a good laugh the other day, in one of my zone out moments, when he told me ...

"Jessica, i'm so small you need to give me all your attention when i'm talking to you"

kids.
