a late review....better than none at all

i was disappointed.
The singing wasn't as powerful as i had hoped. The opening scene left me wondering what they were mumbling about. sigh.

i suppose everything else made up for it. The phantom's role was marvelously played and he was the only one whom i felt really busted his lungs and sang his soul. the overall effects were brilliant; you have to admit the use of the full stage and the double layering as well as the dropping of the chandelier was brilliant. i applaud the backstage crew who manage to move everything in and out of scene on cue, and the designers of the set and props, my god, did they do a great job. i suppose from all the highly priced ticket money the props got it's well deserve amount of cash to cover the cost.

amen.
