Somedays were meant to be lazy days.

someone once told me that we shouldn't spend the day wasting it away. Doing nothing is an offence. Doing nothing and just sitting there is like denying yourself the will to live.

Doing nothing was simply, a crime. Apparently there's no such thing as tired people just lazy ones.

are you kidding me?

Some days, i just want to lay in bed and never move. i want to lay there snugged inside my warm bed with a book or just staring at the ceiling with music blasting from my earplugs. I want to ignore all existence of people and do nothing.

Most days i wish i had the opportunity to do that but i don't because we live in a world where making money is basically a priority in life if you have any will to live longer than the end of the day and as such, every day we wake up and go to work like tired drones, machines walking in a single file to the place where they deem us qualified to perform and at the end of the month appease us with papers with numbers on them fed straight to another place tied and bounded by our names.

These papers then control how we are able to fully live the life we want. They control where we can make our travels to or spend lavishly on that new outfit we, for some reason (perhaps because society said so) feel that we must have.

so forgive me. forgive me for wanting to waste away the day just doing nothing. just laying here in my bed with no motivation what so ever to move because come Monday, i wouldn't be so lucky.

It's not normal to be always doing something ALL THE TIME....it defies the law of nature..even computers have down time or it burns out..that's why we have things like retreats - so you can do nothing, be quiet, and let God speak to you.
