Just another city centre..

We arrive from Invercargil to Dunedin a little earlier than expected. The bus pulled into a huge parking area that looked like a bus bay and in front of us was a tiny single story building. Inside, warm and toasty, were just 4 rows of chairs, a table full of backdated magazines and an older women mending the desk up front. A female and male toilet stares straight into the room and everyone huddles into this tiny room.

We sat among the others waiting for our hosts.

Miri didn't take long and soon after we were buckled in and introduced to Johannes.

Their house was lovely. It was a little outside Dunedin but it was just such a beautiful place. It had a whole rustic feel and looked great.....it's the kind of home you dream you could have when you come from a busy city like myself.

We decided to make dinner the first night since we still had left over carrot cake from the night before ready to be fried up and it was once again, a hit. No one can refuse carrot cake ... Singaporean style!
