MARCH MARCH MARCH

my trip to melaka was rather.... interesting.

met up with Uncle Lawrence or Uncle Lawren who during the two dinners we had with him shared alot about the side of my family i, myself am not sure off.

it seems that he knows people i don't and i know people that either he didn't know or didn't want to tell me more than what i knew.

i'm guessing some of the people related to me moved from the Portuguese Settlement since he said we didn't have family there...

I think i know people living in Mata Kuching rite? I know Gavin and his family is at Ujung Pasir... Aunty Doris is near Melaka Sentral. Where's the rest of them or rather.. who's the rest of them?

Uncle Lawren brought us around his old kampung and suddenly i'm face to face with an Uncle i have never seen or remember anything of.

Uncle L: oy, is si Annie's sa famila
Uncle Ivan: Oh.
me: ... *awkward* hello
Uncle L: want to go in and see?
me: *looks at friends* erm.. ok

we quickly took some pictures walk around like a minute or two OOO-ing and AAaa-ing to be courteous when i spotted Auntie Doris picture with Auntie Alan and quickly putting two and two got familiar with the distant family connection.

I must have my family tree all in a bundle of fallen leaves because i really don't remember who belongs where and how each member is connected to me.

pity.

since the connection might very well just end with me.
