stupid singaporeans

stupid Singaporean no. 1 was on the bus with me the other day. she and her young daughter stood beside me in a crowded bus. the bus approaches a stop and it becomes apparent we both are getting off at the same one. so i turn to walk slowly towards the door as A) it's a crowded bus and B) quite a few people are getting off.

now i'm standing nearer to the exit and stupid singaporean no. 1 with young daughter in toll are behind me when suddenly like she got possessed, she squeezes in front of me, grumbles and with daughter in one hand clumsily following behind, she manages to get pass. I, in shock, just let her pass since i'm in no rush.

here's the best part.

stupid singaporean no. 1 finally gets off bus and stops RIGHT IN FRONT of the bus door blocking the rest of us trying to get off. She takes her time and keeps her ezlink card into her bag while i try helplessly to maneuver around her crashing into her a little.

seriously. for lack of any other word that best describes it, it was just stupid.

now let me introduce you to stupid Singaporean no. 2

in a crowded train, there was a slightly elderly man leaning against the poles. the train is crowded so it's quite...

say it with me

STUPID

to be leaning on a pole.

it's one of those old trains where there aren't any handles just above the seats so i'm trying to balance without holding on to anything since every handle above is taken and the man is leaning against the pole.

... and of cause what do crowded trains love to do?

break in a jerky manner.

i reach for the pole almost subconsciously and grab and arse-full of pole.

think it was about 3 seconds before i manage to stand up straight again and squeeze my way to another cabin.

grrrr....

I absolutely HATE it when people keep their ezlink cards in their handbags, wallets, purses, butt, or wherever instead of just holding it in their bare hands to scan the card! For obvious reasons mainly 1) only God knows where the card is in their bags, so when the scanner can't locate it, these people simply take their time to scan their card by dancing their bags around the scanner and 2) They take their own sweet time with no sense of urgency or regard for other people's time. Geez, people! Can't you just grab the card out and just scan it with your hands like how it should be done!! Yes JD, stupid Singaporeans indeed!!!

Stupid singaporean no.3 - those who get off the escalator, and stands there for a few seconds while trying to decide which way to go...creating a human pile up behind him/her.
