my mum was so fasinated by the shops being open today.

mum: everything's open today! even cold storage!!
me: o? guess the malays and indians are running the shops
mum: no the chinese! don't have to worry about suffering during the chinese new year the shops are all open like any other day!

i didn't know we suffered from shops being closed during chinese new year.
i guess if cold storage was close for a day.
