SOCCER!!! or otherwise also known as... FOOTBALL! has of late manage to divert my attention away from my reports and assignments. i was there when they played MALAYSIA and i was there when they played the first leg of the finals against THAILAND. the stadium was rocking and packed with 55 000 screaming fans dressed in red.. well a majority bothered to ransack their wardrobes and dig for that red shirt. it really is a different atmosphere when you're there as compared to simply cheering from home or some pub. i never knew boo-ing could make Singaporeans feel so united and with such energy even! we boo-ed at every opportunity we got; when the opponent got the ball, when they had a free kick, when they fell oh .. and when they walked off the pitch for a good 8 to 15 minutes!!!! it was hilarious! the entire stadium just.. well.. BOo-ed!! some said the penalty was uncalled for, others said the ref gave it to us because he missed some offenses earlier which had resulted to a stadium of angry fans yelling loud and clear (with much effort to keep in tune with one another) "REFEREE KAYU"if you weren't there, you missed your chance of watching the last ever played soccer match at the old stadium...judging by the talk that is said to have the stadium torn down soon and revamped. although they did say this last year. Heh.
well if you didn't already know, the LIONS won the Asean championship title! hoorah!
Paul came to visit us all once again and we gathered into a little Mexican restaurant at Holland Village. Lil Daniel got bored and started stacking them coasters...hah!
admit it, you've NEVER solved a Rubiks cube before...well, I've been playing with one recently and i've finally solved it!! first time i ever did!!!alright...
i cheated, i used an internet guide. i never said i was smart.
